My Goals for July 2018
As we pass the half way mark for 2018 (what? how? no way!) I wanted to sit down and think about the goals I would like to set for the next month. Nothing over the top. Just a few small things to make me a healthier and happier person.
Here are my more general, day to day life goals for July:
- Lose a couple of pounds. As it is summer this is a pretty predictable thing to aim for, but the real reason I want to lose a small amount of weight is because I’m getting married next May (eek!) Slow and steady wins the race. I’m taking a healthy approach and doing it bit by bit, for my health just as much as the way I feel in my dress.
- Spend more time on hobbies. I’m constantly daydreaming about spending my days painting and drawing beautiful things. The reality is that the only drawing I actually do is on my laptop and it’s always of house extensions! I know I’ve got the time to do it, so it’s entirely achievable!
- Spend more time in the garden with friends and family. Although we have done an fair amount of this so far this year as we’ve been blessed with some glorious weather here in the UK, but I’d like to do more. It’s healthy and it makes me happy!
There we are. Starting off nice and slowly.
