Today’s post is just a short one. As you read this I’m doing a bit of a run around town. First I have to drop off cheese cakes and decorations. Then I have to check in to a hotel with 50 bags. Finally, most importantly, I have to sit down with a beer and some pizza and just chill for a minute. All in preparation for something a bit special. You see, I’m getting married in the morning!
Tomorrow is my wedding day. I can’t believe I’ve just typed that. In just 24 hours I will be sitting waiting for hair and make up to arrive. The morning will fly by I’m sure. Before I have time to blink we’ll be off to Liverpool Town Hall.
I’m both over the moon with excitement whilst also feeling completely terrified. I’m awful at being the centre of attention and the thought of everyone’s eyes being on me for an entire day is scary. Of course, I’m head over heels for my hubby to be and can’t wait to see his face as I start to walk down the aisle.
Once the ceremony is done and we’re officially husband and wife I’m sure I’ll be able to relax and dance the night away. Our focus has been on good food and a good party throughout the planning process. As long as our guests are happy and we’re having a nice time, I’ll be pleased. We’ll hopefully be able to catch a quiet moment or two for ourselves as well. So many people have told us how important it is to step back at least once and take the day in together.
In the run up to the wedding I’ve been quite busy and my poor blog has been forgotten about. Once the vows have been exchanged and the honeymoon has been enjoyed everything will be returning to normal. I’ll be sure to do a follow up post after the wedding to let you know how it went and maybe even share some sneaky snaps!
